We believe fatherlessness is the biggest social challenge of our era.
In 1950, just 1 in 20 children was born to an unmarried mother. Today, 1 in 4 children in the United States are growing up without a father. Shockingly, the U.S. has the highest rate of fatherless children in the world. The absence of a father is linked to nearly every negative outcome for children, including poor academic performance, behavioral and mental health issues, teen pregnancy, and even suicide.
